Kimora Booker | Dallas, Texas Cohort
Meet Kimora Booker, who was born and raised in Dallas TX. Booker attended school for two years for Business Administration, concentration in Human Resources. But soon widthdrew after finding her God-Ordained purpose. In April 2015 she had a vision for a movement that targets Sexual Abuse, Human Trafficking and Domestic Violence. In March 2017, Booker founded the Scar Movement: a non-profit organization that caters to women with scars. Through this organization, she provides physical and mental resources to help develop healthy adult relationships and shelter those transitioning from abuse.
Booker participated in the Dallas, TX workshop where she was challenged to contemplate eh business model of her non-profit and develop creative ways for sustaining and scaling the socially-focused venture.
